A book about the Russian Group Alpha – part of Spetsnaz

Hello, my dear friends! Today I’d like to tell you about a book that was recently published on the Bulgarian market, it is called “Spetsnaz Alpha – My destiny”. Written by general Genadiy Zaytsev – former leader of the antiterrorist group – Alpha, within the Russian special forces (Spetsnaz), the book is a memorial one and tells the stories of the actions undertaken by Zaytsev and his team, that he lead for more than 14 years.
If you are a fan of such stories of intelligence, war tricks and antiterrorism, this book is for you. I found it on the Bulgarian market, published by Svetlyo Kantardjiev and New Media Group, but I’m sure soon it is going to be translated and sold in the Western countries too, because it is a bestseller in Russia.

I’ve read such books like “Spetsnaz Alpha – My destiny”, but this one is unique, because it tells the story from the first hand, it speaks frankly, and you can get to touch the Russian war techniques, strategies and tactics from the time very transparently, which is precious. The inside information is totally worth it! Happily, the author or the editor of the book has taken care for the stories and they sound very interesting and easy to imagine.
All in all this book is a must for everyone interested in the subjects it touches. Genadiy Zaytsev, by the way, was a really huge leader and a very strong person, and you would not be disappointed by his personality also.
